IPMI + Bare Metal Servers
We’re excited to announce the release of IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) and additional capabilities on our bare metal dedicated servers!
Unlike many other providers, we only sell high-end servers intended for large systems like OpenStack, Ceph, Clickhouse, Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, OpenSearch, Clustered PostGres/Mongo/Redis, etc.
IPMI is a valuable, easy to use platform management tool that provides a wide range of features to help you keep your servers running smoothly. In conjunction with our high-capacity dedicated bare metal servers, any business from the SMB to the enterprise can run large, complex systems with confidence.
New Datadog Monitoring Features
Datadog + OpenMetal Cloud makes a powerful combination for monitoring and optimizing your cloud resources. Our latest update makes setting up various beneficial monitoring capabilities a breeze.
Now, upon adding Datadog, OpenMetal Central will auto-generate a set of prepared monitors for your cloud – helpful items like when disk usage is above 90% or if not all OSDs are up.
These new features are available to all OpenMetal Cloud with Datadog users. If you have any questions or would like assistance setting up monitors, please get in touch with our cloud consultants or your dedicated account manager.
Hardware V2.1 Update
As we work to continuously improve our cloud offerings, we’re pleased to announce our latest and greatest hardware V2.1 update. V1, V2, or V2.1 hardware options allow you to choose the setup that works best for your needs.
- Large V2.1 Servers – upgraded from V2’s two 3.2TB drives to two 6.4TB drives.
- XL V2.1 Servers – upgraded from V2’s four 3.2TB drives to four 6.4TB drives.
