OpenMetal Release V2.1.1: Cloud Core and Central Control Platform Updates
Our new and improved on-demand cloud platform V2.1.0 was recently released, and already the team has implemented a number of improvements, fixes, and exciting new features. This latest hardware and Central platform update provides better CPU support and customization, along with:
- Enhanced Session Management: We’ve optimized the user session durations for increased security and efficiency. Our improved session expiration detection and automatic logout features ensure a secure and streamlined user experience.
- Revamped Self-Service Checkout Page: The checkout process has been redesigned for better usability. It now splits the configuration of cloud services and payment into two separate pages, simplifying the transaction process.
- New Hardware Selector: Selecting your desired hardware is now more straightforward with our new hardware selector. This feature directly connects to our inventory, providing real-time availability updates.
- Operating System Selection for Bare Metal Purchases: Users can now choose their preferred operating system when purchasing bare metal services, offering greater customization for your needs.
- Embedded Hardware Catalog Browser: A new embedded hardware catalog browser is now available at https://openmetal.io/products/bare-metal/. This page is dynamically linked to our API, ensuring that the information displayed is always current and accurate.
