Public Networking, IPv4

OpenMetal Private Networking

OpenMetal’s cloud service provides enhanced public networking capabilities for bare metal environments. Customers receive a base public IPv4 block, with options to use their own block or acquire additional ones for a fee.

Key features include over 200Gbits of edge connectivity per availability zone, 20gbit per server connectivity, and direct IP connections to the public internet with firewall protection. IPs can also link to cloud load balancers for flexible routing to private IP space.

Each client’s hardware operates on dedicated VLANs, with up to 10gbit DDoS protection included. Traffic within VLANs, whether through public or private IP spaces, is covered, while only traffic exiting the VLANs to the public internet incurs fair egress pricing after a base allowance.
