OpenStack Cloud

What is Different About OpenMetal?

It all begins with an OpenMetal Cloud Core that delivers unique advantages.

  • OpenStack as a Service: Deploy your own OpenStack private cloud with the speed, convenience, and scalability of public cloud.
  • Single-Tenant Environment: Operate on dedicated bare metal servers that offer the security and control you expect with a private cloud.
  • Open Source Cloud: Access and build on OpenStack to enjoy integration with Ceph storage, Kubernetes, and many other resources.

OpenStack 3 Server Starter Cluster

All OpenStack clouds start with a Cloud Core. OpenMetal’s Cloud Core is a hyper-converged set of 3 hosted servers of your chosen hardware type, spun up as a service.

The Cloud Core is set up using Kolla-Ansible and Ceph-Ansible.

All Cloud Cores can be used for both public cloud and private cloud workloads. This is the power of the OpenStack cloud platform.

Cloud cores provide HA control plane, HA block, HA object storage, and compute with all core OpenStack components plus more.
