Each organization/company is eligible to reserve one cloud core at a time under the Spot Hardware Program. Any additional clouds, nodes, or services will be charged based on On-Demand Pricing or a Term-Based Agreement. Please note that hardware availability is subject to change based on unused stock, so act fast to secure your “spot”. How many cloud cores can be purchased under Spot Pricing?
Each organization is eligible to reserve only one cloud core at a time under the Spot Hardware Program. Additional clouds, nodes, or services will be charged based on on-demand pricing or term-based agreements.
How long does it take for Spot Hardware requests to be fulfilled?
Spot Hardware requests can be fulfilled online. But based on hardware availability, they might not be immediately available. Existing OpenMetal customers can also work with their OpenMetal Account Manager to reserve Spot Hardware and may receive priority when hardware becomes available.
Can individuals reserve Spot Hardware, or is it only available for organizations?
The Spot Hardware Program is specifically designed for organizations and is not available for individual use. We will require your business information which will be validated. Accounts may be pursuant to cancellation if conditions are not met.
How long can I reserve Spot Hardware at a time, and can it be extended?
Hardware can be reserved for 30 days at a time and will be auto-billed every 30 days unless canceled by the customer or recalled by OpenMetal. OpenMetal will provide a 2 week notice via the email on file before recalling hardware. Spot Hardware can be converted to a non-cancellable Cloud with a 2 week notice. Customers need to work with their Account Managers to facilitate this.
