Sash Ghosh
Head of Growth and Partnerships
Sash is THE example of a true left brain, right brain conflict. As a child, Sash had aspirations to be everything from a teacher, dancer, pilot, detective, real estate conglomerate, novelist, to an actress. Any good book or movie had a trigger effect that instantly put her on a new path. Her interests would constantly ping pong back and forth between her analytical side and her creative side.
This struggle continued well into college and beyond. After earning a Bachelors in Physics from Bombay University, those creative desires motivated Sash to achieve additional certificates in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy and one focused on 3D Design and Animation.
Fortunately, Sash’s first professional job offer came from a Creative Media Consultancy firm in Bombay. As a self-described “noob” in this role, Sash had the opportunity to work on some really cool projects, including designing layouts for a leading newspaper and print ads for some name brands. It was also where she first learnt to code for websites; HTML, CSS, Javascript and Actionscript… by hand… in a text editor…and gained a passion for technical marketing.
Pursuing her own success, Sash took a huge leap in her early twenties by moving to the United States, leaving her family and friends behind in India. After about a decade in New York, where she continued to hone her marketing skills working across a variety of industries including projects for Microsoft and Sodexho, she made another move across the coast to California.
This move brought with it an opportunity to work with InMotion Hosting (IMH), where she has helped to form and lead its first product marketing team. It also provided her the chance to work closely with driven entrepreneurs like IMH’s founders, Todd Robinson and Sunil Saxena, helping her to further shape her own work ethics and career aspirations.
For almost 10 years now at IMH, she has expanded on and honed her experience in product marketing, brand marketing, marketing operations and leadership over core marketing teams. These experiences made Sash a natural fit to transition over to the OpenMetal team, where she is helping build the marketing foundation and brand of a new transformative cloud solution.
With a focus on driving growth strategies and market awareness via analysts, Sash is true to her nature bringing together an intersection of data analysis and creative expression, for the highest impact to business outcomes.
