Peter Lee

Cloud Consultant

Peter Lee is a Cloud Consultant at OpenMetal, where he advises companies on hosted private cloud, GPU infrastructure, and the economics behind both. His work sits on the business side of infrastructure: helping technology leaders optimize what their cloud spend is actually buying and right-size their footprint.

Peter has spent more than a decade in cloud infrastructure, across account management, business development, consulting and IaaS sales roles at Apex (Telus franchise), TeamTech, and Tecorp Cloud, and founded small businesses of his own. He holds an MBA in Accounting and Business Management.

That path, finance training plus a decade of infrastructure deals, shapes how he works today. Peter has been in thousands of conversations with engineers, CTOs, and founders about cloud bills, migrations, performance, GPU capacity, and the trade-offs between public and private cloud. His reputation with customers is built on a simple principle: infrastructure decisions are technical, but they are made by people, and the relationship is what makes the advice land.

Away from work, Peter likes to travel and explore the great outdoors. One day, he hopes to see the world by helping the people in it. For now, he is happy making his dent in the cloud business, one right-sized customer at a time.
