Dedicated Bare Metal Servers from the New Cloud Leader
OpenMetal’s team has worked closer with us than any other infrastructure provider we have ever had. Their technology is great, but their superpower is a culture of aligning their team with our goals.
Networking for Dedicated Servers
All OpenMetal clouds come with a base public IPv4 block or you can bring your own /24 or larger for announcement from our Edge Routers. Additional blocks are available for a fee.
Major features of your public connectivity include:
- Each Pod (Availability Zone) comes with 200+Gbits of edge connectivity
- 20gbit (2X10gbit LAG) per server connectivity
- IPs can be directly connected to public internet for maximum throughput
- IPs can also be connected to cloud Load Balancers and routed to private IP space for maximum flexibility
- Your hardware lives on VLANs specific to you
- dDOS Protection included for up to 10gbits per IP
- Within VLAN traffic, up to 10gbits, via public or private IP space, is included with your cloud
- Only traffic exiting your VLANs to the public internet is billable at Fair Egress pricing after included base Egress
Cloud-Init and IPMI Enabled
IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) is a valuable, easy to use platform management tool that provides a wide range of features to help you keep your servers running smoothly. In conjunction with our high-capacity dedicated bare metal servers, any business from the SMB to the enterprise can run large, complex systems with confidence.
Key Benefits

- Constantly monitors server health and issues advance warnings of possible system failures.
- Acts independently of the server and is always accessible.
- Enables users to access and make BIOS changes without SSH login or operating system access.
- Allows for server recovery even if the server is switched off.
- Is a universal standard supported by the vast majority of hardware vendors.
Main Features
- Monitor and supervise servers: IPMI can monitor server health, including temperatures, power consumption, voltage, and other factors.
- Recover and restart servers: IPMI can be used to power on, power off, and restart servers remotely.
- Log server states: IPMI can log server events, such as power changes, hardware failures, and system errors.
